Four Tet and drummer Nick Woodmansey aka. Emanative droped today a joint ventured jazzy re-interpretation of the 1982 jazz single from Don Cherry and Ed Blackwell called “Makondi”.
“Makondi” appears on a tribute album called “The Light Years of the Darkness”, honoring the legacy of drummer Steve Reid. Check it out.
